The housing is honest postwar suburbia: splits, ranches, and '60s colonials on quarter-acre lots in genuinely neighborly streets, plus newer townhome developments that give downsizers and first-timers a lower-maintenance lane. Renovated splits move fast; the un-touched ones are the value plays I flag for clients willing to do the work.

You're trading Lexington's cachet for a materially lower entry at the same highway exits — with the Burlington schools and a parks system that punches above its weight. Third Avenue gave the town a real social center. For corridor commuters, Burlington is usually the most rational buy on my list.
